From February 12-15th, educators from across Texas and around the globe descended on San Antonio, Texas for the annual Texas Music Educators Association Clinic & Convention. Often regarded to as the largest music education convention of the year, TMEA was bigger than ever, boasting its highest attendance figures to date. Our now annual duo of PreSonus Education Market Manager Evan Brown and PreSonus House of Worship manager were in attendance manning the PreSonus booth, as well as our territory representatives Brandon Bishop and John Fedorko of Cowser Marketing!

The festivities kicked off Wednesday evening at the annual Technology in Music Education (TI:ME) TMEA Pre-Conference Reception. PreSonus is a longtime sponsor and partner of TI:ME and raffled 2 pairs of the ERIS HD10BT Headphones to lucky educators!

The show continued with a very busy exhibit floor from Thursday-Saturday. The PreSonus booth was home to many products, including the brand-new ioStation 24c, Quantum 2626, ARc Series Hybrid Mixer/Interfaces, and of course Studio One 4.6! Other PreSonus products on hand included:

Getting the right software for your music department can be daunting but we are pleased to be able to offer an easy and manageable solution for your school or college network. Unlimited music software licenses are now available for both: Studio One 6®, our digital audio workstation (DAW) for electronic music, production and recording; and Notion 6™, our notation and performance application. Both Studio One and Notion are cross platform and can be installed on Windows and Mac.

Wait, unlimited?

Yup, the license is unlimited, meaning you don’t need to worry about exactly how many seats you’ll need or what happens when you add more computers – whether your site has 25 computers or 250. If fact you now don’t need to limit the software to the music department – get it installed on every computer in the school and compose and produce everywhere! Just tell us how many computers you think you will install on initially, and we will create a bespoke license for you.

FAQ’s

Is it really unlimited? 

Yes, whether you’ve got 20 or 2000 computers on the same single site, it’s one fixed price. We do have a fair use policy, in that we will ask you for an estimate of the number of computers you’d like to install on at your site, and this is subject to our approval. This is to help you manage your activations better (and so that we haven’t put an infinite Studio One license out into the world!). We’ll give you some headroom within this amount, but if you need more, just make a tech support ticket to let us know, and we’ll increase it.

What is a site?

A site is defined as a group of buildings on one physical site. If your school has two or more campuses, or you are a group of schools administrated by a single trust, you will need an unlimited license per individual site. If you are a central instrumental music teaching service, with travelling (peripatetic) teachers, you can also qualify for a site license, just let us know. Email musiced@presonus.com
